It acts as a stand-alone practice, and is a way to start understanding how energy works in the body. In an EMYoga class, we always begin practice with this routine. It is one of the best ways to start changing your energy patterns to work for you. It takes only a couple of minutes, and should be done daily.
Lauren is the founder and creator of Energy Medicine Yoga. She’s been teaching yoga and meditation since 1997 and in 2016 was named one of the top 100 most influential yoga teachers in America. She leads workshops and retreats across the country and offers trainings internationally to certify teachers in the principles and practices of Energy Medicine Yoga. Her work has been featured in Yoga Journal, Mantra Magazine, Yoga Digest, The New York Times, and more.
